 PBS TeacherLine is a comprehensive professional development website for PreK-12 teachers. TeacherLine helps educators achieve teaching and technology skills recommended by state and national standards.
At the heart of PBS TeacherLine is a series of video- rich learning courses, focusing on the integration of technology into teachers’ professional practice. Today, 4 to 8 courses are offered four times a year and open to all Maryland teachers and pre-service candidates. Tested by over 200 college faculty, there are over 50 courses available in the national catalog.
These Web-based, video-rich courses are interesting, challenging, and fun. They cover a range of topics and a spectrum of skills necessary for success in the classroom. They help prepare teachers to make the most of today's technology and teach them skills to adapt to the changes that tomorrow's technology will bring to education.
